23-Pound Foster Cat Named Lunchbox Wants To Be The Next Cadbury Easter Bunny

Lunchbox is no stranger to the spotlight. This chonky 23-pound cat earned Internet fame earlier this year when the Oklahoma Humane Society posted pictures to their Facebook page. The world fell in love with the hefty tuxedo cat, and we’ve been following his weight loss journey ever since. Lunchbox still needs to slim down before finding the right home, but in the meantime, he has big plans. He wants to be the next Cadbury Easter Bunny.

Easter just wouldn’t be the same without mounds of chocolate and the Cadbury Easter Bunny. As the second-largest confectionery company in the world, Cadbury is as much of an Easter tradition as baskets and colored eggs.

The candy company has had a bunny mascot for generations, but in their books, “bunny” leaves room for interpretation. Last year, an English Bulldog named Henri won the title of official Cadbury Easter Bunny. Henri looked adorable in his bunny ears, and this year, Cadbury is at it again.

During the month of February, Cadbury held “try-outs” hoping to find their next famous floppy-eared mascot. They received over 4,000 photos of bunny hopefuls, and they’ve narrowed it down to 10 finalists.Open Next Page To See More
